he Fremont Ohio Fourth of July Committee is putting final plans together for one of the largest firework shows in NW Ohio. This year the committee collected over $20,000 in donations for the annual event. Anyone who still wants to be part of the celebration activity can still make donations. The pool of money pays for the additional fireworks for the community show.
The Partners for this year’s show is the City of Fremont, Crown Battery and Fremont Federal Credit Union.. Additional partners are American Auto, Beck Suppliers, Burns Iron & Metal, Croghan Colonial Bank, Dairy Queen East, Dairy Queen West, Freeman Co., Greenbay Packaging, John Halm Investments, I Scream Sprinkles, Northcoast Security, Dumminger Photo, Engler Printing, Freeman Company, Valley Electric, Fricker’s Restaurant, Domino Fort Stephenson Housing, Hal& Diane Hawk, Chris & Mary Knight, Roger Hafford, Military Antiques, McDonalds Inc, Mosser Construction, Tackle Box II, Wonderly-Horvath-Hanes Funeral Home, Crescent Manufacturing, Green Bay Packaging, John Halm Investments, Pro Medica Memorial Hospital, Gary & Bette Kaltenbach. Dave Slater Insturance, and the Eagles. Without these fine sponsors the Community Fireworks could not be held. Many communities thru out North West Ohio are choosing not to have this annual event.
The show is planned for Monday night July 4th, at the Walsh Park hill. The time of the show will be 10pm. You can listen to the music associated with the show on WFRO. The music will be coordinated thru the electronic firing of the show. A great view will be available at either Roger Young Park or Walsh Park.
